Get into Almaty and have a smooth transfer to your hotel for an early booking in. Once you arrive, it is advised to rest and take it easy until mid morning. In the afternoon, go for a full city tour where you visit; Almaty’s Historical Center, Republic Square, Independence Square, Abay Square and Astana Square. The tour proceeds to the colorful Green Bazaar where you get to taste the local cuisine and purchase souvenirs. A great place to eat is at a restaurant and after this, visit Kok Tobe Amusement Park which is a must-visit place that has many attractions and the cable car ride provides a good view of the city. End the day with a good meal at a restaurant in the area before retiring to the hotel for the night.
Breakfast is served at the hotel and you should begin your day early at 0730 AM since it will be a full day trip. Get to the magnificent Charyn Canyon around 10:30 where you will be able to take pictures and have a feel of the magnificent canyon. Spend some time to have lunch in the beautiful area of the Charyn Canyon before driving to Kolsay Lake at 3:30 PM. Kolsay Lake is beautiful and one can take memorable photos and horse riding and boating (self-drive) here. Leave for Almaty at 6:30 PM in the evening and arrive at around 10:00 PM in the evening and have night’s accommodation in the hotel.
On the third day, breakfast is served at the hotel and then proceed to the Medeu Gorge to visit the biggest high mountain skating rink in the world. Proceed to the Shymbulak Ski Resort located 2230 meters above the sea level to experience highland thrills. After lunch in a restaurant of the city, take a leisurely stroll along the Arbat Street and Panfilov Boulevard to get familiar with the atmosphere of the city and famous places. End the day with an early evening meal at a restaurant of your choice and then return to the hotel for the night.
On the last day, have your last breakfast at the hotel before proceeding to check out and then be transferred to the airport to catch your flight home, thus ending your amazing trip.
