Once you touch down in Rio de Janeiro, you will be met and escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to have some rest before the further travel and explore the city.

Enjoy a buffet breakfast in the hotel to start your day.  Book a half day tour, the Sugar Loaf & Panoramic City Tour, where the guide will be speaking Spanish and English. You’ll be picked up from your hotel between 8:00 am and 9:00am for a tour of downtown of Rio de Janeiro. The tour also encompasses the fascinating Metropolitan Cathedral characterized by a pyramid like structure with a diameter of 96 meters and a height of 80 meters. Visit the Flamengo park, and proceed to the Urca neighborhood which houses one of Rio de Janeiro’s famous landmarks, Sugar Loaf Mountain. Cable car ride up the mountain is in two stages. The first stage leads you to Urca Hill where you get to see Guanabara Bay, Rio-Niterói Bridge, and Corcovado Mountain. From there, a second cable car rises to the top at 395 meters where you will be able to have a view of Copacabana beach, Santa Cruz fort and Niterói beaches. After the sightseeing, take the cable car and go back to your hotel.

Optional Evening Activity Available:

• Experience the vibrant nightlife of Rio with the Rio by Night: Samba Show Ginga Tropical (that can be watched on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday). This is a Brazilian show that presents the cultural diversity of the country through dance and music of the Northeast, Amazon and Bahia. Watch Capoeira, native dances and the rhythm of the Lapa district in Rio de Janeiro. The show also includes the bright Carnival with the talented drummers and beautiful dancers. Overnight is in Rio de Janeiro.

After having breakfast at the hotel, it will be free day to do as you wish in Rio de Janeiro. Discover the colorful environment and the stunning landscapes that make this enchanting city unique. Spend the day visiting the famous beaches of Rio de Janeiro such as the Copacabana beach and the Ipanema beach where one can either sun tan or take a leisurely walk along the boardwalk.

Optional Tours Available:

• H/D Barra de Tijuca & Panoramic of Olympic Park: Discover the geographical wonders of Rio de Janeiro with this private tour. Take a car ride through beautiful coastal avenues; São Conrado Beach and Barra da Tijuca Beach, Rio’s longest stretch of coast that stretches over 18 kilometers long. End with a bird’s eye view of the Olympic Park which was the central stage of Rio 2016 to understand the geographical features and the layout of the city.

• H/D Corcovado: Spend half a day in a tour to Corcovado Mountain where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is located. Start the journey on the cog train from Cosme Velho Station passing through the Tijuca Forest to the top of Corcovado. Gaze at scenic views of Rio de Janeiro and the beaches from one of the most famous structures globally. Have another laid-back night in Rio de Janeiro and take in the liveliness of the city and get ready for more fun. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.

Take your breakfast at the hotel with a buffet style breakfast to kick start your day. At the agreed time, pick up from the hotel to the airport with a Spanish/English speaking guide.  Once you reach Iguassu, you will be met by our tour guide and then taken to the hotel. Take a group tour (SIB basis) with a guide, who speaks both, Spanish and English, and visit the National Park of the Brazilian Falls (entrance fee is included). Start at the Main Center of the park where there are displays about the local environment. Take the main trail in the park to enjoy the waterfalls and get to the overlooks providing vantage points of both sides of the falls. Take a panoramic elevator and return back to the main area.

Optional Tour Available in Iguassu:

• You can continue the sightseeing with the Bird Park (minimum 02 passengers). Sited at the entry of the National Park, the Bird Park is an ecological reserve with an emphasis on ecotourism. Learn about nurseries with about 900 birds of 150 species from Brazil and other parts of the world, other continents such as Australia, Africa, and Asia. It also has butterfly breeding and display areas, and a section with other reptiles like snakes, alligators where visitors get to learn more on conservation.

Take a buffet breakfast at the hotel of your choice to fill your stomach in the morning. Head into the Argentinean Side of the Falls tour, an amazing tour that will take about 5 hours on SIB basis with a guide who speaks both Spanish and English. Start with a transfer to the Argentine side with a brief stop at the border control. Cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguassu River that separates Argentina from Brazil. Drive through a beautiful road to the Argentine Iguassu Park (entrance fee is also included) then be amazed at the beauty of the Argentinean Falls. Visit the largest of the Argentinean Falls known as Devil’s Throat and also the San Martin Falls. On the way back, it is recommended to go to the “Three Borders” – a point of intersection of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. Explore the upper circuit and get an opportunity to view the Devil’s throat.

Optional Extra Cost Tour Available:

• Choose the Big Adventure Tour (Argentinean side) on the shared boat basis provided that there are at least two passengers. This exciting tour is a blend of rain forest and water fall experience. Ride through thick shrubs on trucks with the assistance of professional tour guides, transfer to the pier where you will take a boat trip on the Iguazu Inferior river gorge. Enjoy the most exciting part of the river through the rapids and get to see the San Martín falls and the Three Musketeers falls. The high point is the Devil’s Throat where one has a boat ride around the throat of this natural wonder.

Important Note: Bring extra clothes and appropriate shoes for the Great Adventure activity because people can get wet. Some diseases can cause limitations in nautical activities.
