Arrives at Cairo Airport. After being met and assisted by our representative, you will transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at Cairo.

Breakfast at your hotel Start your tour by passing by El Tharir Square, which has been the traditional site for numerous major protests and demonstrations in the last few years, and visiting the Egyptian Museum, the world’s largest repository of Egyptian antiquities. It features artifacts from the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods, including the celebrated mummies of ancient Egypt’s king and Tutankhamun treasures. After that, visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. By the end of the tour, visit Khan El Khalili, one of Cairo’s main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike.

Have an early breakfast at the hotel, then drive from Cairo to Alexandria on the desert road. We will pass by Wadi El Natroun, one of the three early Christian monastic centers located in the desert of the northwestern Nile Delta. There, we will visit the Monastery of Saint Pishoy, which Saint Pishoy founded in the fourth century. The monastery has five churches, the main one being Saint Pishoy, Virgin Mary, Saint Iskhiron, Saint Georges, and Archangel Michael, 500 meters northwest of the monastery. Founded in the sixth century AD, Saint Pishoy’s Syrian Monastery honors the Virgin Mary. It has five churches, including two dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Then, we will continue our road to Alexandria. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will start your tour by visiting Pompey’s Pillar, which was erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian, as a Greek inscription on the west side of the base indicates. A short distance away are the Catacombs of Kom El Shoukafa, an extensive funerary structure on three levels; it is the largest Roman funerary installation in Egypt. On our way to Qaitbay Citadel, we will pass by the Abu El Abbas Mosque, erected over the tomb of a 13th-century holy man and rebuilt in the 18th century (BD). The Fort occupies the same position as an ancient lighthouse. The Qaitbay Citadel in Alexandria is considered one of the most important defensive strongholds not only in Egypt but also along the Mediterranean Sea Coast.

After your breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Cairo. On our way, we will pass by the monastery of Saint Mina, which is one of the most famous in Egypt.  The relics of Saint Mina, as well as those of Pope Cyril the Sixth of Alexandria, lie in the monastery. Return to Cairo and spend the night at your hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport to catch the flight after a memorable trip.
