    Trip Itinerary

    • Day 1: Tbilisi Arrival

      Meet with our representative at Tbilisi International Airport, pass through immigration and customs control and get your luggage. Meet your guide-driver in the arrivals hall for a transfer to your hotel and assistance with check-in (standard time: This means that the period from 14:00-15:00 is not a suitable time for the students to be in class as they are inactive. Free time in the evening to explore Tbilisi; suggested walking route: Rustaveli Avenue, Freedom Square, dinner at Ethno-Tsiskhvili or Mravaljamieri Restaurant. Overnight in Tbilisi.

    • Day 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta City Tour

      Breakfast is served in the hotel and then proceed for a sightseeing tour of Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia and a World Heritage site. Tours to Jvari Monastery, Svetitskoveli Cathedral, and a souvenir market. Back to Tbilisi for the city tour visiting Holy Trinity Cathedral, Metekhi Church, Meidan Bazaar, Shardeni Street, Sioni Cathedral, The Bridge of Peace and by cable car to Narikala Fortress. Take some leisure to walk around the area of Old Town, which has small alleys. Other optional activities are the Mtatsminda Amusement Park and The Chronicles of Georgia. Overnight in Tbilisi.

    • Day 3: Gudauri Tour

      After breakfast, it is recommended to go on a one day trip to the Caucasus Mountains. Trek to the Jinvali Reservoir and then to the Ananuri Fortress Complex, cross the Black and White Aragvi River confluence, and then go to Gudauri Resort. Hiking and playing in the snow and winter activities (until March 5) and Gudauri View Point. An optional and weather permitting tour to Gergeti Trinity Church by the 4-wheel drive vehicle is possible. Overnight in Tbilisi.

    • Day 4: Kakheti Tour

      Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel before getting to Kakheti, which is the wine region of Georgia. Free wine tasting at KTW Wine Factory, sightseeing in Sighnaghi (The City of Love), Sighnaghi Wall, Bodbe Monastery. Or, go on a tour to Uplistsikhe (the oldest cave city in Georgia) and Borjomi Mountain, the Central Park, and the Mineral Springs. Overnight in Tbilisi.

    • Day 5: Departure Transfer

      Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel, complete check-out formalities (standard time: 12:00, and then you will be transferred to the Tbilisi International Airport three hours before the departure flight.
