Once you arrive to Tbilisi International Airport at 11:20, you will be met at the airport and then drive to Gudauri hotel. On the way, make a beautiful stop at the Ananuri Fortress, a medieval castle that stands on a hill in the picturesque area of the Zhinvali Water Reservoir. This gives a good impression of Georgia and its beauty as it leads to the scenic views. Proceed to the Gudauri Inn Hotel for check-in after your visit, it is on first come first served basis and check in time is 15:00. After arrival you will stay in comfortable mountain resort Gudauri, to rest before the next days of the tour.
Following breakfast at the hotel, proceed and take a trip to Kazbegi. On the way, be sure to visit the Friendship Monument in Gudauri which is located on the slopes of the mountains. Your next trip can be a 4 persons jeep tour to the Gergeti Trinity Church situated on a hill with stunning views of the Mount Kazbegi. After this wonderful sightseeing, return to Tbilisi to check in the hotel and have a night’s rest.
Breakfast in the morning at the hotel before proceeding to visit the colourful city of Old Tbilisi. Tbilisi has many historical sites including Metekhi Church, Narikala Fortress, Chardin Street, and Old Baths. Following lunch (on your own) proceed to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, to visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitkhoveli Cathedral. Back to Tbilisi for an overnight accommodation.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the beautiful Kakheti region. Taste Georgian wine at a wine factory using your own senses and enjoying the atmosphere of the country. Visit Bodbe, the place where St. Nino is buried, and then head to Sighnaghi, called the ‘’City of Love’’ where you will be able to walk through the picturesque streets and enjoy the romantic atmosphere. At the end of the day of sightseeing, drive back to Tbilisi for an overnight accommodation.
On the last day, have breakfast at the hotel depending on the time you will be checking out. Go through the schedule and proceed to the airport for your next destination, thus ending your wonderful Georgian experience.
